BENGALURU, January 30, 2026 – LEAD Group, India’s premier School Learning System, successfully concluded the Grand Finale of its National Championships 2025 today in Bengaluru. The event served as a high-stakes stage for students from India’s small towns and emerging cities, empowering them to demonstrate their academic prowess and confidence on a national platform.
Now in its seventh year, the competition saw a staggering participation of 2.4 lakh students. After months of rigorous school-level and regional rounds across more than 10 states, the top 155 finalists gathered in Bengaluru to compete before national juries and live audiences.
Bridging the Opportunity Gap
The National Championships aim to solve a critical disparity in the Indian education system: the “opportunity gap.” While students in smaller cities possess deep conceptual understanding, they often lack the stage to articulate their thoughts or apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios.
By competing in categories such as Early Learning, Mathematics, Science, English, and Coding, students gain the 21st-century skills necessary for future career success.
“Watching the grand finale today, it was amazing to see students from small towns and cities share their ideas with such clarity and confidence,” said Sumeet Mehta, CEO & Co-Founder, LEAD Group. “These students weren’t just ‘performing tasks’—they were thinking on their feet. They are the future of our nation.”
