Melvin Thomas, a native of Kerala, started a Walk from Kanyakumari to Kashmir on 9th October 2021 with message DONATE BLOOD..DONATE LIFE. He reached Jammu on 3rd Feb 2022 evening, covering 3800 km. It was fascinating to see him being hosted by blood donors and other organizations, on a daily basis as he walked 30 to 35km per day for 4 months, and even arranging his stay at some of their houses . His return journey was by bicycle covering around 80km per day with halts. He expected to reach Bangalore on Tuesday 22nd March 2022, arriving from Tumkur. He will proceed to Mandya on Thursday 24th March. A few blood donors on Lions Bloodline of Lions Club of Bangalore Sanjaynagar, Blood Banks and others promoting blood donation plan to meet and greet Melvin tentatively at Lions Bhavan, Sanjaynagar, Bangalore on Wed 23rd March at 4pm.
