- 16 finalists took part in the exhilarating grand finals that spanned from 9th June to 12th June 2022

New Delhi, June 13th, 2022: iQOO BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA Pro Series Powered by Loco (BMPS), came to a power-packed end on 12th June with Team Soul winning the championship and taking home a grand prize of INR 75 lakhs. Team Soul dominated the tournament and became the first ever team to win all individual as well as team awards. Team Soul topped the leaderboard with 335 total points and 166 finishes. OR Esports stood second and won a cash reward of INR 35 lakhs followed by Enigma Gaming winning INR 20 lakhs at the third place.
BMPS kicked off on 19th May where 24 teams battled it out over 3 weeks to qualify for the finals. The tournament witnessed a display of unmatched temperament, strategy, and techniques wherein each of the 16 teams that qualified put forth a remarkable feat of excellence while going head-to-head in the finale.
The nail-biting finale, which was broadcasted online, garnered an extraordinary response from BGMI enthusiasts and mobile gaming players alike.
The experience was only heightened by A-list casters from the esports fraternity. The English casting honors were carried out by Anagad Singh Chahal a.k.a Experiment, Arun Sagar aka Arca and Fyxs aka Amrit Gaurav while the Hindi casting was taken on by the experienced Ocean Sharma, Zeeshan Alam aka Mazy, Piyush Batla aka Spero and Ankit Pandey aka Ankiibot. These familiar names in the esports circuit came together to heighten the experience for spectators and overall, the series more than 175 million viewers tuning it to watch.

What’s next for BGMI Esports? After a great run in 2021, BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES (BGIS) will be back for a second season later this year to expand the arena for players and give them a chance to battle it out yet again.
