Bangalore January 4, 2024: Queen’s Restaurant, the popular and legendary restaurant is all set to open doors of its third outlet marking the home coming to Church Street, bringing the rich flavours of Punjab to its guests. Bengaluru’s iconic restaurant in its 50th Year of Operations has been dishing out authentic Punjabi food with its forte being the “homely flavour” in its successfully running outlets in RMV Extension off New BEL Road and at Prestige Technostar in Whitefield. The restaurant started in 1974 by Soneelam & Anil Kumar Chodha, is all set to open its third outlet back on Church Street. It is a pioneer in serving Phulkas, Chaats and Kesari Kheer in the city and continues the tradition of serving authentic Punjabi food, made with fresh ingredients, homemade masalas and paneer.
Jagadish Bangalore, the managing partner, says “we are thrilled to celebrate the legacy of our restaurant with the launch of “Queen’s is Back Home” with Church Street being the origin of our iconic journey. He further said “we decided to be back on Church Street in a new avatar as our customers across the city wanted us to be in a central location.”
Anshul Chodha, an architect and one of the three partners, has designed the new place to enhance guest dining experience through every element of the restaurant by elevating the decor and adding interesting elements to our previous traditional set-up. We want our guests to enjoy our food and feel the essence of our service in a cozy and modern environment.
Neena Agarwal, the third partner, says “we are passionate about providing our customers with the best of Punjabi cuisine and our menu is a tribute to the rich culinary heritage of Punjab, featuring a variety of signature dishes that are prepared using traditional techniques and the finest ingredients.”
