Hyderabad, May 4, 2021: Taking a step towards ensuring the safety of the city, ADP India collaborated with the Cyberabad Police Department to install 51 CCTV cameras at the Nanakaramguda area. During the ongoing battle against COVID-19, the organization stands alongside the police force that has tirelessly been on the frontline. The installation is aimed at assisting the Police department to keep a close watch and real-time tracking of the movement in the streets and increase the safety quotient. These CCTVs will cover the Nanakaramguda area in the city and will be spread through a stretch of 4 kms.
The launch activity witnessed a limited guest list, meticulously following the COVID-19 protocols. The key guest list included Mr. M. Venkateshwarlu, DCP, Madhapur Zone, Mr. Raghunandan Rao, ACP, Madhapur Division, and other senior police officials. On behalf of ADP India, Mr. Vijay Vemulapalli, General Manager & Managing Director, Dr. Vipul Singh, Divisional Vice President, and other senior leaders were present at the ceremony.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr. M. Venkateshwarlu, DCP, Madhapur Zone, said, “The installation of surveillance cameras significantly helps in the deterrence of criminals along and reducing the time and resources spent on maintaining peace and keeping law & order in place. This is a thoughtful gesture from ADP India in extending their support to achieve this objective. We are proud to state, and multiple surveys reinforce the fact that Hyderabad, is one of the safest cities with a strong support provided by a high number of CCTVs installed in the city. We are the pioneers in utilizing the latest technology in surveilling traffic enforcement, crime detection, and prevention.”
Sharing his views on the initiative, Mr. Vijay Vemulapalli, General Manager & Managing Director said, “In over 2 decades of ADP India’s journey in the country, especially in Hyderabad, we have taken up multiple initiatives and have been contributing to the upliftment of the community. The current drive is in continuation to ADP India’s previous collaboration with the city police to install CCTV cameras in Somajiguda area of the city as well. Over the last decade, ADP has consistently served the community through its employee-driven and leadership-led community empowerment initiatives. Their MIDAS (Making Impactful Difference at School) program benefitted more than 46,000 lives in FY 2020. ADP India has been involved in the country’s fight against the pandemic in several ways with the company and its employees supplying essential kits to daily wage workers in Hyderabad and Pune and financial support to PM Cares fund amid the ongoing pandemic.
