Chennais Amirta Group of Institutions, a hospitality education leader for 14 years, announced two exciting Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) that will provide students with international exposure and earning opportunities.

New Horizons in Aviation Education

Chennais Amirta is launching an international aviation college in collaboration with University College of Aviation Malaysia (UniCAM). This program offers undergraduate degrees in Air Transport, Aviation, and a Diploma in Aviation & Tourism Management. Students will benefit from:

  • Global Learning: A two-year program combining studies at Chennais Amirta’s Chennai campus with a year of practical experience at UniCAM, including internships at Malaysia’s international airport.
  • State-of-the-Art Facilities: A 40,000 square foot high-tech environment simulating an international airport in Chennai provides an immersive learning experience.
  • Work While You Learn: Part-time job opportunities offer students the chance to earn Rs. 8,000 – 15,000 per month during their studies.
  • Enhanced Skills: Additional courses in Personality Development, Personal Grooming, IATA Training, Spoken English, and Hindi.
  • Diverse Career Paths: Potential careers upon graduation include Airport Manager, Ground Staff Manager, Air Traffic Controller, and more across 60 different aviation departments.

Tri-Nation Hospitality Program

The MoU with Birmingham Academy Singapore allows students to pursue a unique tri-nation Hotel Management program:

  • Year 1: Students study at Chennais Amirta in Chennai and earn a Diploma from Birmingham Academy.
  • Year 2: Students transfer to Birmingham Academy’s Singapore campus for an Advanced Diploma program with a paid internship offering a stipend of up to SGD 1,500 per month (approximately ₹1 lakh).
  • Year 3: Students complete their degree program at De Montfort University in the UK, gaining further work experience through a paid internship with a stipend of up to £2,000 per month (approximately ₹2 lakh).
