Round Table and Ladies Circle India Show Solidarity with Parachute Regiment

Bengaluru, 20 August 2024: The Indian Army embodies the virtues of courage, glory, sacrifice, and duty, reflecting our country's highest values. The young members of Bangalore North Round Table 25, Bangalore North Ladies Circle 14 and Bangalore Cosmos Ladies Circle 105, affectionately called Twinklers, had the incredible honour of visiting the Officers and Jawans at the Parachute Regiment in RT Nagar, Bangalore, to commemorate Raksha Bandhan. During the visit, they listened to the officers' and jawans' stories of bravery and dedication while safeguarding our nation. They also tied rakhis on the wrists of these warriors who leave no stone unturned in guarding the borders around the clock. The girls prayed for the soldiers' long life by applying tilak on their brothers' foreheads and wholeheartedly participated in the festivities, spreading joy and cheer. This heartfelt initiative served as a token of gratitude for the unwavering service of the army and the defence sector. The jawans, eagerly awaiting Rakhis from their sisters, were overjoyed to celebrate the day with the members of the Bangalore North Round Table and Ladies Circle. This was a heartwarming tribute to our true protectors, the Indian Army. Jai Hind! Let's extend our warmest wishes to them for a long and happy life!
