Bangalore, January 11, 2025 – Enabling Leadership (EL), a global non-profit organization, successfully hosted the Bangalore Play Regional Finals at the Whitefield Cricket Academy. The event, attended by government officials, showcased the impressive football skills and leadership qualities of 640 children from 13 government and low-income private schools in Bangalore.
EL’s Play program utilizes football as a medium to develop essential leadership attributes such as confidence, resilience, empathy, and creativity in children. The Regional Finals marked the culmination of three league matches where children demonstrated their teamwork and sportsmanship. Notably, all teams comprised both boys and girls, fostering inclusivity and gender equality.
Winners from the Sub-Junior, Junior, and Senior categories advanced to Elevate 2025, EL’s national-level tournament. The winners of Elevate will be awarded scholarships, reflecting EL’s commitment to recognizing and nurturing young leaders.
The Bangalore Play Regional Finals underscored EL’s dedication to empowering children through experiential learning and fostering a culture of leadership, collaboration, and positive values.
