Bengaluru, June 23, 2025 – Montra Electric, the clean mobility arm of the Murugappa Group, has further cemented its commitment to sustainable transportation in Bengaluru with the inauguration of a new three-wheeler dealership. Partnering with Rainland Autocorp, the new showroom is strategically located on Mysore Road, opposite the Satellite Bus Stand in Bapujinagar, aiming to provide comprehensive sales, service, and spare parts support to customers.
The new dealership marks Montra Electric’s fourth touchpoint in Bengaluru, complementing existing showrooms and service centers in Jayanagar, Rajaji Nagar, and KR Puram, operated by partners RBVS Vidyuth and Li On Mobility.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Mr. Arun Murugappan, Chairman, Tube Investments of India Ltd, who underscored the significance of the expansion. “Montra Electric three-wheelers are ushering in a new era of growth and innovation for us. Montra Electric’s three-wheelers, including the SUPER AUTO (passenger) and SUPER CARGO (goods) models, are designed for both B2C and B2B customers. These vehicles boast best-in-class features such as a real-world range of 160 to 170 km per charge, exceptional spaciousness, power, and utility. They also come with 24×7 Roadside Assistance, Telematics support, and a 5-year/1.75 lakh km battery warranty.
The recently launched Montra Electric SUPER CARGO, powered by a 13.8 kWh lithium-ion battery, delivers a class-leading 170 km range, 70 Nm torque, and 12 kW peak power, with 23% gradeability. A rapid 15-minute 100% charge variant is also available in Bengaluru.
Montra Electric’s three-wheelers are now available in over 100 cities across India, rapidly expanding its network to drive the nation towards sustainable mobility. The brand has seen significant success, with over 11,000 vehicles already on the road within two years of launch.
