Bengaluru 5th September 2025. Marriott International has promoted Kiran Andicot to Senior Vice President, South Asia. With nearly 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Andicot will now oversee operations and development across the company’s South Asia portfolio, which includes India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, and Bangladesh.
In his new role, Andicot will focus on accelerating growth, strengthening owner partnerships, and expanding the company’s leadership bench. His extensive experience in hotel operations, development, and consultancy, along with his deep knowledge of the market, will be key as Marriott continues to expand its footprint in the region.
Andicot has been with Marriott since 2006, most recently leading development for South Asia. He has been instrumental in the company’s significant growth in the region, including the signing of over 220 hotels. In 2024 alone, his team signed a record 42 hotels and 7,000 rooms in India.
One of his major achievements was the landmark deal to affiliate The Fern portfolio of 115 properties with Series by Marriott. This partnership has allowed Marriott to expand its presence beyond major cities and into Tier 2 and 3 markets like Surat, Shimla, and Coorg.

Prior to joining Marriott, Andicot worked in real estate and hospitality consultancy with EY and HVS and spent seven years in hotel operations with IHCL and the Oberoi Group.
