BENGALURU, 27th October 2025. Kuchipudi Parampara Foundation, Bengaluru, is proud to announce the 12th edition of its annual cultural celebration, the Natya Parampara Utsav 2025. The festival, dedicated to promoting and preserving classical Indian dance traditions, will take place on Friday, October 31st, 2025, starting at 6:00 PM at the Seva Sadan Auditorium, Malleshwaram, Bangalore.
The Utsav promises an evening of exquisite performances and significant honouring ceremonies. A key highlight will be the Recognition & Honouring of the lifetime works of senior Kuchipudi Guru of the Traditional Kuchipudi family, Guru Dr. Pasumarthi Venkata Ramana from Visakhapatnam, and renowned Bharatanatyam Exponent Smt. Anuradha Venkataraman from Bangalore.
The performance lineup showcases both established and emerging talent from across India:
- Kuchipudi Solo Performances by Samyuktha Matsa and Akundi Sri Sowmya from Hyderabad (disciples of Smt. Bala Triupura Sundari, daughter of Padmabhushan Guru Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam), Dr. Sneha Sasikumar from Kerala, and Dr. Smrithi Vishnu from Bangalore (disciple of Kuchipudi exponent Deepa Sashindran).
- A special presentation of Kathak by Arti Shankar and her disciples from Hyderabad.
The event will be graced by esteemed guests, including Smt. Shubha Dhananjay, Chairperson of Karnataka Nrithya Academy, Govt of Karnataka, and Guru Jayanthi Eshwarputhi.
The Natya Parampara Utsav 2025 is curated by Deepa Narayanan Sashindran, Kuchipudi Exponent and Life Trustee of the Kuchipudi Parampara Foundation, Bengaluru. The Foundation, a Non-Profit Trust, is committed to offering systematic Kuchipudi dance training and choreography in Bengaluru and globally to foster high-calibre artists.
