BENGALURU, 12 February 2026 – Procam International, the pioneers of globally renowned distance-running events, today announced that the 18th edition of the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) World 10K Bengaluru is set to take place on Sunday, 26th April 2026. As a World Athletics Gold Label Road Race, this premier event continues to solidify Bengaluru’s reputation as a global hub for fitness, community spirit, and social impact.
Under the campaign theme #EndendiguBengaluru, the event celebrates the joyful spirit of the city. Registrations for all race categories—both on-ground and virtual—will officially open on Friday, 13th February 2026, at 7:00 AM at https://tcsworld10k.procam.in/.
A Legacy of Economic and Social Impact
The 2026 edition arrives on the heels of a landmark Socio-Economic Health Impact Report for the 2025 race, conducted in collaboration with the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Bengaluru. The findings reveal that the TCS World 10K has evolved far beyond a sporting competition, generating a total impact valued at INR 262.43 crores.
Key highlights from the 2025 Impact Report include:
- Economic Contribution: Over INR 179.91 crore was spent by participants on training, apparel, technology, and travel, while INR 78.69 crore was invested in nutrition and preventive healthcare.
- Health & Wellness:21% of participants run specifically for health benefits, and 70.12% have adopted proactive health behaviors such as regular full-body check-ups. Notably, 22.5% of runners reported a reduction in medication use.
- Philanthropy: The event remains South India’s largest philanthropic running platform, having raised INR 3.83 crore for 75 NGOs across 12 social themes.
- Sustainability: The event achieved the Bronze Level in Sustainability from World Athletics—one of only eight races globally to reach this distinction. The 2025 race was a zero-waste-to-landfill event, diverting 7,126 kg of waste and avoiding 13,248 kg of CO2 emissions.
Elite Competition and New Entry Standards
With a total prize purse of USD 210,000, the TCS World 10K continues to attract the world’s fastest elite athletes. In a significant move to enhance the race experience and prioritize safety, the Open 10K category will now require a valid timing certificate for entry, ensuring that participants are grouped according to their proven abilities.
Mr. Sunil Deshpande, Regional Head, TCS Bengaluru, remarked:
“The TCS World 10K Bengaluru showcases the city’s drive to exceed expectations. For 15 years, it has grown into a community event rooted in fitness and inclusion. At TCS, we are proud to support a platform that channels collective energy toward social good.”
