Witnesses strong market acceptance across Bengaluru’s high-growth sectors, driven by a compelling Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) proposition.
BENGALURU, 14 October 2026 — Air India SATS Airport Services (AISATS), India’s leading gateway services and cargo handling provider, has introduced a Short-Term Warehousing Solution (STW) at its BLR Logistics Park. The new offering provides freight forwarders and shippers with flexible, on-demand storage for urgent, last-minute, and temporary cargo requirements without the burden of long-term lease commitments.
Designed to handle both general and temperature-controlled cargo, the STW solution enables businesses to access Grade A storage facilities for rental periods starting from just one day.
Within its first year of operation, the AISATS BLR Logistics Park has demonstrated strong market traction and is on track to achieve full occupancy, underpinned by a highly competitive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) proposition. Spread across eight acres, the integrated ecosystem brings together Grade A warehousing, a customs-bonded warehouse, a consolidation centre, cold storage, office spaces, and a comprehensive suite of value-added logistics services.
To ensure seamless end-to-end management, customers can access cargo inter-shuttle services, packing and labelling support, dedicated manpower, forklift operations, and specialized cargo facilitation on demand. Strategically located near Kempegowda International Airport with direct connectivity to NH44, the park significantly reduces transit times and transportation costs by eliminating the need to haul cargo to off-airport facilities situated 40–50 kilometres away.
While the facility already serves major multinational logistics players—including DHL, DSV, FedEx, Kuehne+Nagel, and CEVA Logistics—the STW solution extends these premium capabilities to mid-sized and smaller freight forwarders, shippers, and businesses with periodic storage needs. This flexibility is vital during peak cargo seasons like Diwali, Christmas, and New Year, as well as for project cargo and specialized consignments. Recently, the STW solution successfully accommodated odd-sized medical equipment requiring specialized care, alongside pharmaceutical ingredients and special chemicals stored within its common-user cold storage unit.
“The AISATS BLR Logistics Park was developed to address Bengaluru’s evolving air cargo and logistics requirements through world-class, integrated infrastructure,” said Salim Chaudhary, Chief Operations Officer, AISATS. “The market response has been extremely encouraging, with occupancy already reaching 70%, reflecting our strong value proposition and cost efficiencies.
As cargo volumes grow, we see increasing demand for flexible storage, particularly for urgent and specialized requirements. Our Short-Term Warehousing Solution enables freight forwarders and shippers to access premium infrastructure on demand. AISATS remains committed to delivering agile, customer-centric logistics solutions that enhance supply chain efficiency and support the region’s economic growth trajectory.”
Driven by high-value growth sectors across South India—including electronics, semiconductors, engineering goods, aerospace, and pharmaceuticals—the AISATS BLR Logistics Park is uniquely positioned to strengthen regional supply chain resilience.
