Bangalore, March 2026 — To commemorate International Women’s Day, the Aalekh Arts & Culture Foundation is proud to present “Shades of Grey,” a solo exhibition by contemporary artist Divyaman Singh. This art fundraiser will be held at Sabha Gallery, Bangalore, from 26th to 28th March 2026.

The exhibition will be officially inaugurated by Chief Guest Santosh Lad, alongside Guest of Honour Bose Krishnamachari, the renowned curator and cultural thinker.

The Artistic Vision: Landscapes of Emotion

“Shades of Grey” offers a unique tribute to womanhood by stepping away from literal representation. Instead, Divyaman Singh utilizes evocative oil-on-canvas landscapes to mirror the complex internal worlds of women. Through a masterclass in tonal greys, rich textures, and shifting horizons, the works invite viewers into contemplative spaces that suggest resilience, memory, and quiet strength.

“The greys are not the absence of color but a spectrum of feeling,” says artist Divyaman Singh. “Through these abstract horizons, I attempt to capture the inner tides that often shape a woman’s experience but remain unseen.”

Art with a Social Purpose

Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the exhibition serves as a vital fundraiser for the Aalekh Arts & Culture Foundation. A portion of the proceeds will be directly channeled into vocational training programs for women, fostering skill development and sustainable livelihood opportunities.

Dr. Rennie Joyy, Founder of Aalekh Foundation, emphasizes the dual mission of the event: “At Aalekh, we believe art must create meaningful social impact. Presenting this series during Women’s Day month reflects our commitment to both cultural dialogue and community transformation.”
