Bengaluru, July 18, 2025 – The All India Agarbathi Manufacturing Association (AIAMA), the leading body for India’s incense stick industry, today announced “AIAMA EXPO 2025,” set to be the largest international conference and exhibition in the history of the agarbathi sector. This three-day event, scheduled from November 6th to 8th, 2025, at Tripura Vasini, Palace Grounds, Bengaluru, aims to solidify India’s position as a global hub for agarbathi manufacturing. The expo is conceptualized around the theme ‘Traditionally Modern’ and will also introduce the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification as the quality benchmark for the industry.
AIAMA EXPO 2025 will showcase the finest offerings from the industry, providing extensive learning and networking opportunities for all stakeholders. The event will feature a diverse range of products and facilitate discussions on crucial topics such as policy, employment generation, raw material sourcing, consumer behavior trends, and innovations in product and packaging.
Speaking at the announcement, Mr. Ambica Ramanjaneyulu, President of AIAMA, emphasized the association’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth. “Our vision is to make India the global hub for agarbathis. This initiative aims to instill pride and a deeper sense of belonging among all in the agarbathi ecosystem. We believe celebrating our heritage is key to shaping a progressive future for the industry, and this platform will foster meaningful collaborations and knowledge exchange across the value chain,” he stated.
Mr. Arjun Ranga, Chairperson of AIAMA EXPO 2025, highlighted the growing global demand for agarbathis. “We aim to position India as the global manufacturing hub for agarbathis, bringing the entire fraternity up to speed with evolving business landscapes and exciting opportunities. This landmark Expo will unite suppliers showcasing products and thought leaders conducting insightful seminars, all designed to empower agarbathi manufacturers,” he said.
Mr. Ranga added, “We are curating an immersive experience that celebrates the rich legacy of agarbathis and the Association’s key milestones. The showcase will feature rare agarbathi samples, iconic photographs, prestigious awards, and significant memorabilia, honoring the industry’s journey and inspiring future generations of agarbathi entrepreneurs.”
The Expo, spanning 120,000 square feet, will host curated seminars covering various aspects of the agarbathi industry. Topics will include job creation, raw material sourcing, new fragrance research, packaging developments, women empowerment, export opportunities, and new-age marketing strategies.
The event has garnered support from key industry bodies, including the Fragrance and Flavours Association of India (FAFAI) Mumbai, the Fragrance and Flavour Development Centre (FFDC) Kannauj, and the Essential Oils Association of India (EOAI). Exhibitors from Vietnam, Indonesia, and several European countries are also expected. Over 5,000 delegates are anticipated to attend the three-day event.








![New Delhi [India], January 9: Visually impaired cricketer and captain of Indian Men’s Cricket Team for the Blind Illuri Ajay Kumar Reddy on Tuesday was conferred with Prestigious Arjuna Award from the President of India at a specially organized function at Rashtrapati Bhavan. National Sports Awards are given every year to recognize and reward excellence in sports. Arjuna Award for outstanding performance in Sports and Games is given for good performance over a period of the previous three years and for showing qualities of leadership, sportsmanship and a sense of discipline. Illuri Ajay Kumar Reddy (Blind Cricket) is among the 26 sportspersons who were honoured with Arjuna Award for outstanding performance in Sports and Games 2023. The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports last month had announced the National Sports Awards 2023. The nominated stars received their awards from the President of India. “I am overwhelmed with this recognition. I dedicate this award to my Parents and Family members for their support. I also would like to thank Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) and all the players with whom I have played,” Ajay Reddy said in a statement. Congratulating Arjuna awardee Dr Mahantesh G Kivadasannavar, Chairman- Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) said “It is an honour and proud moment for all the blind cricketers across the world. It is the good recognition for the hard work and dedication in taking Cricket for the Blind to the next level through various achievements by the Indian Men’s Cricket Team for the blind under the leadership of Ajay Reddy. CABI is happy that cricket for the blind is getting the recognition with other major sports.” Following the Award ceremony, Illuri Ajay Reddy, the chairman of the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) Dr Mahantesh G Kivadasannavar and CABI secretary Shailender Yadav also met Indian pacer Mohammad Shami. Shami is also among the 26 sportspersons who were honoured with Arjuna Award on Tuesday. Illuri Ajay Reddy is currently working in SBI regional office in Bangalore. He is a B2 category player, who is representing India since 2010. He has been part of winning two ODI World Cups, 3 T20 world cups, 1 Asia Cup. Ajay is the captain of the Indian cricket team for the blind since 2016. Under his captaincy Team India has won 1 ODI world cup, 2 T20 world cups, 1 Asia Cup and the Silver Medal in IBSA World Games and many bilateral and triangular Series. Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) acknowledges the great support received from the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports through this award.
