Bengaluru, India – March 24th, 2023 – Amy Taylor Alpers, a second-generation Pilates teacher and co-founder of The Pilates Centre in Colorado, will be visiting India to share her expertise at an Introductory Classical Pilates Workshop in Bengaluru on March 25, 2023. This will be the first time that a teacher of her caliber will visit India to promote the practice of Pilates.
Amy Alpers trained under Romana Kryzanowska, Joseph Pilates protege and inheritor of his studio in New York City. Globally recognized as one of the torchbearers of Classical Pilates, she has maintained the integrity of the original movement practice and inspires others to become teachers.

This event coincides with the launch of India’s first Classical Pilates Teacher Training Academy by Kavita Prakash, the only licensed teacher trainer for the Pilates Centre in Asia. The workshop will cover the benefits of Pilates for the mind and body, including its potential to combat depression and stress. It is suitable for people of all ages, from 10 to 100, including new age working professionals.
