BENGALURU, July 31 — In a powerful demonstration of solidarity and human compassion, Bengaluru-based non-profit Anantha Foundation has launched a major relief effort to support thousands of families devastated by the recent floods in Assam.
Driven by the conviction that no community should face disaster alone, the Foundation has mobilized resources to send an emergency consignment of essential supplies directly to the hardest-hit regions.
To restore dignity and comfort to displaced families, the bulk relief shipment includes crucial personal care and hygiene items:
- Hygiene & Sanitation: Bathing soaps, toothbrushes, and toothpaste
- Dignity Supplies: Sanitary pads for women and girls
- Daily Survival: Fresh clothing and essential supplies
These critical goods—collected and packed through the swift, generous outpour of donations from compassionate individuals and local well-wishers—are currently being distributed on the ground in Assam through trusted local coordination teams.
Standing with our brothers and sisters during times of crisis isn’t just charity—it is a shared human responsibility,” said a representative of Anantha Foundation. “We are deeply humbled by the immense generosity of our donors and volunteers who turned compassion into swift action. Together, we are sending more than just supplies; we are sending hope.
