Agam to perform on World Music Day, June 21st 2019
Each year June 21st is celebrated all over the world as World Music Day. This year, the Indian Music Experience, India's first interactive music museum, celebrates the day with a very special Upclose and Unplugged concert by Harish (vocals), Praveen (guitar) and Swamy (keyboard) of the Carnatic progressive rock band - Agam. Agam is one of Bangalore's best known bands that combines deep classical music with heavy duty guitar solos and complex rhythmscapes to create a unique sound that appeals across age groups.
The up, close and unplugged series features award-winning contemporary artistes in an intimate setting. The first half of the evening features a conversation tracing the artistes' journeys, creative process and influences. The second half would be an unplugged concert of hit songs and compositions that showcase the artistes' creative expression. The first artiste in the series was Raghu Dixit, and Agam is the second band to be featured.
The event is at 6pm on Friday, June 21st at MLR Convention Centre, JP Nagar. Tickets are available at Bookmyshow, IME box office and at the venue.
