Amazon.in’s I Have Space Program Transforms Vijayawada based Mallikarjun’s Life

Under the ‘I Have Space program’ (IHS), Amazon India partners with localstore owners to provide pickup and delivery services to customers acrossdifferent cities within a 2 – 4 kilometer radius of their store. These localentrepreneurs understand their area well and have immense goodwill in theirneighbourhood to efficiently deliver and receive products. Amazon.in hassuccessfully unlocked the potential of such store owners, allowing them tosupplement their regular income and generate more footfalls in their stores. Onan average, Amazon India’s store partners deliver between 30 to 40 packages aday, earning a fixed amount per delivery.
The Amazon India I Have Space program is open to all store owners who havethe ability to service on foot or a two-wheeler. The only requirement to be anI Have Space partner is for the store owner to have sufficient manpower to makelocal deliveries during their off-peak hours and space for storage of thepackages. Currently, this program primarily consists of grocery, telecom,stationery, chemists, general stores and other modern trade outlets to name afew.
