Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council organises a Job Mela
Guwahati 11th February- Beauty &Wellness Sector Skill Council organised a Job fair on 11th& 12th February at Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), Near, Games Village, Lalmati, Guwahati, for the Beauty& Wellness professionals wherein both experienced and fresher participated. The job fair was inaugurated by the dignitaries from Assam Skill Development Mission, NSDC and icons of the Beauty and wellness industry.
More the 15 esteemed employers from Beauty & Wellness industry including on line portals, international cruise liner participated in the job fair. The list of employers include renowned organisations Lakme, VLCC, Jiva Spa- Taj, O2 Spa , Talwalkars, Pin- Ups, Kaya Skin Clinic to name a few.
An international cruise liner Steiner through it recruitment agency Air Borne & Indus participated in this job fair giving international employment opportunity to the youth.
The students had an option to choose from the numerous vacancies available with the top employers of India and work with the employers of their choice.

The Indian Beauty & Wellness Industry is growing at a CAGR of 18.6%. The employment in this sector is growing at a CAGR of 20% with 23% in the organised and 15% in the unorganised market. Events works towards bridging the huge demand and supply gap in beauty & wellness domain.
North East has been the resource hub of the beauty & wellness industry. There is a huge demand of professional from this region, this recruitment drive was a remarkable platform to make the right candidates reach the right employers and vice –a – versa.
