CII Karnataka Statement on Karnataka Budget 2020
Mr. Sandeep Singh, Chairman CII Karnataka & Managing Director, Tata Hitachi “CII welcomes the Karnataka State Budget 2020-2021. The Government has focused on creating social infrastructure by announcing a lot of socially relevant initiatives. The focus on Agriculture, Water resources, Irrigation and Industrial Development is vital for the state. The announcement of amendment of Section 109 of the Karnataka Land Reforms Act which will improve ease of doing business in Karnataka. Importance given to product specific cluster development namely Health & Wellness cluster in Shivamoga, Home Personal care and Consumer goods manufacturing in Dharwad will enable MSME development at Teir-II & Teir-III Cities.”

The plan to establish Bengaluru center for smart manufacturing, Defense & Aerospace Equipment Manufacturing Cluster will boot the manufacturing sector. CII will be happy to work with the Government with regard to the new Tourism Policy 2020-21 & “Global Tourism Investors Meet”.
