Delhi hosts ‘SME Connect’ event on Optimizing IT Infrastructure by Schneider Electric IT Divisi

New Delhi: July 19, 2017: After Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Chennai, the “5 City SME Connect” event on optimising IT Infrastructure by Schneider Electric was organised in Delhi. Targeted at SME organisations, the highlight of the event was to interpret the SMEs’ technology challenges and mitigate those challenges with a systematic approach.

The SMEs inIndia are working with significant challenges including a limited set ofresources and skill, and uptake of technology too. A precise architecturalapproach is important to mitigate those challenges. The world of work and playis getting increasingly connected and in order to respond to the uncertainties,an optimised infrastructure is essential. Power, cooling, racking and stackingbeing the basic requirement(s) of any data centre, there has to be a consistentfocus on these aspects so that the entire data centre caters to the new ageneeds. 

Keeping thechallenges in the mind, the 5 Cities SME Connect event organised a paneldiscussion on Optimising Infrastructure to cater to the new age needs. The keypanellists included Naveen Gulati, Sr. Vice President & CIO, Lucideus TechPrivate Limited, Ranjan Kumar, General Manager - Sales - IT Division, SchneiderElectric India, Upkar Singh, Director IT, Clear2Pay (An FIS Company), PuneetKaur Kohli, VP-IT & CIO, Bajaj Capital and Nikhil Kumar Nigam, Head IT,Amity University Noida. 

Speaking onthis criticality of certainty in a connected world, Anubhav Sabharwal,General Manager, Schneider Electric India said, “While the Internetof Things is redefining the way individuals are interfacing with technology andvice versa but IoT actually starts with smart and efficient products.
