Everest launches India’s first Technical Manual on Pre-Engineered Buildings
Bengaluru, December 23, 2017: Fuelling speed to the growing demand for Pre-Engineered Buildings, Everest Steel Building Solutions, the Pre-Engineered Building division of Everest Industries Ltd, launched India’s first Technical Manual on Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) technology today at Bengaluru. Estimated to be close to Rs 5000 Cr in India, PEB industry is the solution of choice for fast durable and safer construction of industrial, warehousing, and commercial buildings.
Thefirst-of-its kind Technical Manual was unveiled by an eminent panel ofStructural Consultants, Architects and Construction Experts from Bengalurucomprising of R Sundaram, Chairman & MD, Sundaram Architects, Prof . BR Srinivasa Murthy, Indian Institute of Science, A. N. Prakash, Director, A NPrakash Construction PMC, Madhukar B. A., MD & CEO, Potential ProjectManagers Pvt. Ltd., N. N. Nagendra Kumar, Director, Sterling EngineeringConsultants Services Pvt. Ltd. and Architect Virendra Kumar Giridhar. Themanual, developed by Everest in close consultation with industry stakeholderslike leading consultants, architects, engineers, project managers, govt.Institutions and industry experts, will be used by Architects, DesignEngineers, and Project Managers as a technical orientation and reference guideand training tool for designing, detailing, manufacturing and erection ofPre-Engineered Steel Buildings.

The EverestPre-Engineered Steel Buildings are widely used in industrial and commercialinfrastructure i.e. large factories, warehouses, logistic parks, shipyards,airports, car showrooms, large format retail outlets, schools, and exhibitioncentres. Everest Steel Building Solutions has already completed more than 2000PEB projects covering more than 5Cr sq ft of construction across 275 cities in29 states in India. This includes the Ro-Ro Ferry Terminal in Gujaratinaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi last month and the tallest PEBbuilding in the country – the Goa Shipyard, last year.. In Karnataka Everesthas recently completed the construction of 3,23,000 sqft factory for TATA Powernear Bengaluru and is currently constructing a warehouse for Reliance Retail inBelgaum . The company also constructed the 424829 sq.ft warehouse forKRIDL in Bengaluru.
