Exciting contest marks Castrol Super Mechanic All India finals
4th October 2017: Eight teams of three mechanics each from across the country fought it out for the title of Castrol Super Mechanic of India at the Castrol Super Mechanic. All India finals held in Mumbai.
The finalround included a quiz and a practical round to test the knowledge and skills ofthe mechanics who qualified for the finals after two rounds of toughcompetition with about 60,000 mechanics who participated from across thecountry.
The Indiaedition of the Castrol Super Mechanic contest was part of an Asia-wideinitiative launched by Castrol, one of the leading lubricants brands in theworld, to encourage two-wheeler mechanics to showcase their knowledge andtalent and to hone their skills.
Accordingto Kedar Apte – Vice President Marketing, Castrol India, “TheCastrol Super Mechanic contest is designed to test and improve maintenanceskills of two-wheeler mechanics and also to provide them a platform to showcasetheir talent. We are delighted with the response received from across thecountry and would like to wish the best of luck to the winning team which willbe representing India at the Castrol Asia Pacific finals.”

The winningteam will attend a final training camp in Mumbai from6th-8th November before they fly off to Thailand forthe Castrol Asia Pacific finals.
