GMTC-I EMPLOYEES SHOWCASE THEIR GLOBAL CREATIVE TALENT AT CARTIST YATRA IN BANGALORE
Bangalore:A spectacular “scrap art” sculpture is the centerpiece of General Motors’ participation in the 2017 CARTIST Automobile Art Festival in Bangalore.
The CARTISTAutomobile Art Festival is an annual art festival, combining Indian art andculture with the nation’s love for vintage cars.
A nationwideCARTIST Yatra is running from December toFebruary 2018. Covering 9,100 km through10 cities, it offers 1000 artists the opportunity to showcase theirautomobile-inspired art. From those artists, 200 finalists will be selected toshowcase their artwork in the CARTIST Automobile Art Festival 2018 in Jaipur.
The GMTC-Isculpture showcased the artistic talent of the GM Design Centre’s employees.Adding to the talent display, senior GMTC-I leaders participated in a‘live-painting’ event, transforming the hoods of four Chevrolet Corvettes.
GMTC-Ipractices and actively promotes a work culture that encourages employees topursue their talents and areas of interest. The event witnessed seniormembersfrom GMTC-I: Brian McMurray,VP, Engineering and Operations, GM, Anil Saini,Director, Design; Rituparna Dasgupta, Global Talent & Development at GMInternational and Rachana Darshan, Design Program Manager, General Motors.

TheCARTISTAutomobile Art Festival has been organized in Bangalore from 8- 10thDecember between 1.45 PM to 4.30 PMat Central College Bangalore, Palace Road,Gandhi Nagar, Bengaluru.
