Greaves Cotton Limited carries out raid at Karol Bagh & Central District
Mumbai, 27 December, 2017 – As part of its nationwide initiative of cracking down on the businesses of spurious auto parts, Greaves Cotton Limited, one of India's leading engineering firms, recently conducted a series of raids on manufacturer & trader of spurious parts at two locations in Delhi.
The recent raid conducted along with the Delhipolice, seized spurious spare parts & counterfeit labels from Nishant AutoSpare, Karol Bagh & a godown from the central district in Delhi. Some ofthe spurious spare parts which were raided includes Push rod & sleeve set,packing pouch, M.R.P. stickers, Cam shaft, Valve set, Rocker lever set,Cylinder kit, Disk oil seal, Oil seal packing pouch. An FIR has been lodgedagainst the shops raided, of which the warehouse belongs to Manoj Kumar &the manufacturing unit belongs to Rajesh Mohanlal (Nishant Auto Spare)
Manufacturingand selling counterfeit products is against Greaves’ philosophy of providinggenuine spare parts, as its commitment to the 5 Million plus customers on theroads today in the last mile transportation segment. Spurious parts damage thevehicle and is illicit to sell this under the name of reputed brand GreavesCotton, which has been built over years on plank of trust and reliability.
Theenforcement team consisting of the Indian Police and Greaves Cotton's legalteam has been working closely and identifying both manufacturing units andselling outlets and locations of counterfeit spares across major cities andtrade hubs in India.
