Here is some good news for all data entry operators from Telangana State.

Hyderabad, 10 August, 2017…. In a development that comes as a major boost to their career prospects and earning capacity, major players like National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), IT-ITES Sector-Skill Council-NASSCOM and Visri Technologies Solutions Pvt Ltd have joined hands to pioneer a uniquely innovative initiative, Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL).

Today willmark a significantly eventful day for all those data entry operators, who slogit out day in and day out but get meagre financial rewards by way of monthlysalaries.

Thanks tothe well-conceptualised Central Government project-Pradhan Mantri Koushal VikasYojana-theRecognition for Prior Learning (RPL), which is a CDMA and MEPMAtraining programme, will usher in hope.

Recognitionfor Prior Learning (RPL) is an effort that aims to enhance the potential ofthese operators so that with the skills they would be acquiring during thelearning process will hold them in good stead in future employments.

The firstbatch of the programme has been launched to tremendous appreciation in theMEPMA office situated in AC Guards at Lakdikapool, Hyderabad.

In keepingwith the significance of this innovative five-day programme, Dr T K Sree Devi,Director of Municipal Administration, Telangana State, was kind enough toinaugurate the State’s first IT-ITES RPL program.

VisriTechnologies Solutions Pvt Ltd, which is executing the program, is alsohonoured with the presence of Dr Sandhya Chintala, Vice-president,NASSCOM, and CEO IT-ITES and L.Vandan Kumar, Additional Mission Director,MEPMA.

In order tomake the programme qualitatively viable, the data entry operators will bementored by seasoned professionals, who have been specifically chosen for thisendeavour.

Oncompletion of the program, the ‘trainees’ will have to undergo an Online test’on the fifth and final day. They will subsequently be given certificates byIT-ITES Sector, which will be an envious and credible addition to their resume.

What’s moreas a means to encourage fresh batch of students and to serve as a motivationaltool, the successful and meritorious candidates will also be given a cashincentive of Rs 500 each. 

At a timewhen data entry operators may find difficulty in locating employment avenues,the RPL trainees will be eligible for getting benefits of the outsourcing facilitythat has been put in place.

We takedelight in announcing that the first batch features 25 candidates from MEPMA.The subsequent batches will each have 100 candidates in one go. Our aim is tochurn out at least 1000 RPL-qualified data entry operators.
