Hyderabad, July 15, 2018......Hyderabad is slowly but steadily emerging as sports destination in the country. Soon Hyderabad will become Sailing Destination in the country. Yacht Club of Hyderabad is raising a bar for the sailors. I am very happy to note that the just concluded four day 10th edition of Monsoon Regatta hosted by Yacht Club of Hyderabad got an overwhelming 111 participations.
No city with a population of over 10 million has as much favorable weather as Hyderabad is a for a sport of Sailing. We will send more kids to Yacht Club for training from the different departments that fall under my jurisdiction said Burra Venkatesham.
Sports teach good lessons. You will learn difficulties of life through sports. Sports are the best teacher of the life. Best way to promote your wellbeing is through sports, Venkatesham who was the chief guest at the closing ceremony of Monsoon Regatta added.

Chlimilla Gnapika bagged the Overall Trophy in Optimist Green Fleet Girls Category. She emerged as the Champion and lifted the trophy. Akshay Vincent C was adjudged as the Champion in Optimist Fleet.
Uma Chouhan was the Champion and presented with Trophy in Optimist Girls Category. Chinnu Kumar was the Champion in Optimist Boys Category
Ekalavya Batham was the youngest sailor who completed all races that count towards the overall score. He was also adjudged as the best sailor under 10years.
The 10th edition of the Monsoon Regatta is very special and important becase this year it is considered as "National Ranking Championship" informed Suheim Sheikh, Founder of Yacht Club of Hyderabad.
