IIIT-HYDERABAD TO HOST INDIA-EU ICT STANDARDS COLLABORATION PROJECT
16th January 2018, Hyderabad: The International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIIT-Hyderabad) will host an activity under an India-EU ICT standards collaboration project funded by the European Union.
A full-daydevelopers tutorial will be conducted on 14 February 2018 using anopen source implementation of oneM2M, developed by a team of French researchersfrom Laboratoryfor Analysis and Architecture of Systems (LAAS-CNRS),University of Toulouse. This highly informative hands-on session isspecially relevant to technology students, developers and start-ups focusing onthe Internet of Things.
oneM2Mis a global standardisation initiative (with active participation also of theIndian and European telecom standards bodies) that creates requirements,architecture, API specifications, security solutions and interoperability forMachine-to-Machine and IoT technologies.
IIIT-Hyderabadis the only institute in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to be hosting the event.It is one of 4 institutions from India who will be conducting it (apart fromIIT-Delhi, IISc Bangalore and Panjab University Chandigarh).
