IIIT-Hyderabad to host talk show with a transgender woman
Hyderabad, September 11, 2017. IIIT Hyderabad to host a talk show with Jessica Lynn, post operation, a transgender woman from California here in the city in KCIS Auditorium at its campus at Gachibowli on Tuesday, 12th September at 3.30pm and all are invited.
The talk isscheduled keeping in view of IIIT-Hyderabad’s several mechanisms to monitor andimprove gender relations in campus including gender sensitisation.

Jessica Lynnwill speak about her journey as a transgender woman. She has been giving talksat several universities and colleges in an effort to educate and informstudents on her own experiences as a parent living as a transgender woman.
Over thecourse of several years now, Jessica Lynn has lectured at many venerableinstitutions, colleges and universities that range from Harvard University toStanford University, orienting students and faculty to issues of genderinequality and the transgender community.
She will bespeaking at IIIT Hyderabad on her life-altering experiences before and aftertransition. Jessica's lectures cover her transition, sex change, and assortedissues both legal and ethical involving gender identity, seen through herperspective as an intersectional advocate. Her style is an extremely open one,and leaves no topic off-limits.
