India’s No. 1 Radio Station heats up the airwaves in the Cultural Capital of Karnataka
Mysore, April 2, 2019: Mirchi, India’s No 1 FM network, was launched today in the Cultural Capital of Karnataka, Mysore, by none other than His Highness Shri Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, the twenty-seventh head of the Kingdom of Mysore. The frequency here is 104.8.
The RJs who will be hosting the shows on Mirchi in Mysore were introduced during the launch. The highlight of the newly launched station is that for the first time in the history of FM stations in India, the Head of an erstwhile ruling family, His Highness Yaduveer Wadiyar will be turning into an RJ on 104.8 Mirchi.
Mirchi Ananya will be hosting the morning show between 7 AM and 11 AM. Fascinated by everything about Mysore, Ananya is just out of college and connects with youngsters with great ease. A powerhouse of ideas, Mirchi Sindu will keep listeners busy between 11 AM and 2 PM with her quirky anecdotes and non-stop laughter. Mirchi Shruthi will keep your yawns at bay post lunch, between 2 PM and 5 PM. Her show will address the eternally ongoing battle of the sexes. The evening drive-time is when fitness-enthusiast-with-the-dreamy-voice Mirchi Akshay, will provide fitness tips amongst many other things to keep audiences entertained. Mirchi Siri will keep Mysoreans awake way past their bedtime all the way till midnight with her million-dollar smile and sweet voice. Her singing is sure to leave Mysoreans mesmerized.
Mirchi in Mysore will play contemporary Kannada film music while giving listeners non-stop access to comedy, Sandalwood news and gossip, infotainment and much more. The on-air product has been designed after careful research and talking to potential listeners in the city. Mirchi also promises to keep listeners hooked by taking up discussions on topics that are most relevant to the youth of today. Shows have been designed keeping in mind the character of the city and its many nuances.
