Initiative for educating underprivileged students

Hyderabad, July 25, 2018 One of the biggest exhibition of its kind, ‘Kamini Saraf’s Fashion Yatra’ was held here at Taj Krishna today. Entering the 14th season of its existence, the fashion exhibition had an array of designers exhibiting their creativity. Speaking on the occasion, city renowned designer Kamini Saraf said, Fashion Yatra is one of the biggest exhibitions of its kind, showcasing designer garments, jewellery and lifestyle products from all over India.

About 70 designers from across the country participated and showcased their creations. It is a Fashion event with purpose, a cause. The proceeds of the Fashion Yatra will go to ‘Teach for Change’ – an initiative for educating underprivileged students.  

Fashion Yatra is the biggest and the oldest fashion exhibition in Hyderabad city. It has the distinction of showcasing over 2000 exhibitors in the last 13years. It is the fashion event that sets the trend for fashion in the city.  

The one-stop shop event was organized by Akshat Events owned by Ms .Kamini Saraf, the promoter & owner of Fashion Yatra, the show was presented in association with White Jewels by Tara-Vikas, Ghanasingh Be True, Radha TMT and Teach for Change.

The Fashion Yatra showcased exclusive sarees to grace festive occasions by Shakun; Fashion for the 'Young-Gen' catered to by Pink Feathers, Posh-Tots & All Things Fancy; traditional and contemporary jewellery by Krsala, Shrihari Diagems by Anirudh, Akoya, Parina Jewels, Harini Fine Jewellery, and Jewel Saga. Stunning silver artifacts and accessories from Ekaani by Karishma Jain & Crescent - A Silver Experience were also displayed. Ekaani offers a range of Worldwide Limited Editions of Indian God figures and idols. They are a fusion of porcelain, 92.5 percent sterling silver, brass, 24 carat gold and swarovski crystals

Everything from clothes, jewellery, bags, footwear, home décor, rakhis, gift items, etc. were showcased.
