International Tech Park Bangalore (ITPB) celebrates Livewire 2017
Bangalore, 21 July 2017: International Tech Park Bangalore (ITPB), Ascendas-Singbridge’s flagship IT Park in India celebrated its annual cultural festival ‘Livewire 2017’ with dazzling performances by employees of various IT companies within the Park.
Livewirecultural fest is the most popular talent show at Ascendas-Singbridge’s IT parksacross India. The event is a platform for IT professionals to showcasetheir talent in the area of art, culture and fashion, away from their dailywork schedule. The employees make best use of this platform and showcase theirtalents in categories such as singing, dancing, skit, live band and fashionshow.
For thefirst time, additional categories such as ITPB Cookout Challenge (a fun cookingcompetition), Pub Quiz and Stand-up Comedy were introduced witnessing largeparticipation from the contestants.
Speaking onthe occasion Mr Sanjay Dutt – CEO India Operations & Private funds,Ascendas-Singbridge said “Events such as Livewire is part ofAscendas-Singbridge’s community vibrancy programme, a key initiative thatdifferentiates our parks and the communities. We are proud that this annualtalent fest is not only a contest but also a platform for our employees toconnect and celebrate diverse forms of art and culture.”
About 800employees from 35 IT companies participated in this year’s culturalextravaganza at ITPB. After a month-long process of screening and auditions,employees shortlisted for the grand finale contested for the title of ‘Stars ofITPB’ in front of panel of judges and cheering colleagues.
The eventconcluded with the award ceremony where the trophy of ‘Overall Champions’ waspresented to Mu Sigma Business Solutions Private Limited for winning in mostnumber of categories.
TCS, GeneralMotors and Conduent closely contended with Mu Sigma for the ‘Overall Champions’title.
