JK Cement all set to host the 26th edition of Architect of the Year Awards

New Delhi, 7th September 2017: JK Cement, India’s premier cement company will announce the 26th Architect of the Year (AYA) Award-2017 on September 17, 2017 in Coimbatore. The prestigious award is JK Cement’s annual flagship event and is aimed at recognizing and encouraging remarkable talent in the field of architecture.

Some of themost prestigious categories at the AYA include Architect of the Year, the GreatMaster’s Award, the Young Architect Award and the Foreign Countries ArchitectAward. The jury for the award includes renowned names in the field ofarchitecture (refer list). 

Therevolving category this year is affordable housing, which isin line with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of providinghousing for all.

 Dr. K.Radhakrishnan, currently advisor and former Chairman of Indian Space ResearchOrganisation will grace the award ceremony as the Chief Guest. Mr. RaghavpatSinghania will also be present on the occasion.

This year, the jury received over 199 entries that came from Indiaas well as its neighboring nations, including Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives,Mauritius, Nepal, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
