Manchu Lakshmi and Kids from Teach for Change inaugurated Fashion Yatra
Hyderabad, October 3, 2017..... Tollywood actress Manchu Lakshmi, and several kids from Teach for Change, a NGO inaugurated Kamini Saraf’s Fashion Yatra here in city today at Hotel Taj Krishna. Kamini Saraf, well known fashion designer was also present at the inaugural function. The fashion exhibition which promised a whole new dimension to fashion had 50 stalls. The proceeds of the Fashion event with a cause will go to Teach For Change-Educating poor children informed Kamini Saraf.
Speaking on the sidelines, Manchu Lakshmisaid, Fashion has to reflect who you are. Wear what you arecomfortable in. Fashion is something that comes from within. Forgetthe funda, rules. If you like it wear it informed Manchu Lakshmi.
The highlight of the exhibition was designer wear from many buddingfashion designers from across India, Silver Hadirafts, Fashion Jewellery,Designer Foot Wear, Designer Clutches, braded towels(Monogram gifting) , WallArt, Fabric Jewellery, Pure Antique Silver Items etc and more.
Selesta from Shri Ram Hari Ram, a 227 years old from oldestJewellers in Delhi known as Dariba Kalan exhibited some unique, rare andcollector items such as Handmade Antique Phone made of Pure Silver costing Rs1.05 lakh, Gramphone Rs 3.41 lakh, Car shaped pure silver Pandans costing Rs1.65 lakh. A student of NIFT Channai, Vrinda Gupta, ChiefArtisan of Gush Shoes and Accessories said her products are uniquely designedto stand out in the clutter of competition. She has come out with One Footwearwith many handcrafted Clic which go along with thechappal. Handcrafted Shoes, Chappal and Footwear is a dyingart. I want to revive it and give a life to it. I employ lot womenartisans. Our products are animal friendly. No leather isused in this collection of footwear. They are very young and colourfulproducts, she informed.
