Ms. Arul Beulah Jasmine, Nursing Superintendent – Malathi Manipal Hospitals awarded
Bangalore, December 26, 2018: Its gives us immense pleasure to announce that Ms. Arul Beulah Jasmine, Nursing Superintendent – Malathi Manipal Hospitals has been awarded the prestigious Florence Nightingale Award 2018. The award was given by the honorable Governor of Karnataka Shri. Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala on 22nd December 2018.The Florence Nightingale Medal is the highest international distinction that can be awarded to a nurse. It recognizes exceptional courage and devotion towards caring for victims of a natural disaster, exemplary services, creative and pioneering spirit in the areas of public health or nursing education.
Arul Beulah joined Manipal Hospital Bangalore as a Nursing Staff in the department of Cardiac Care on 14-Sep-2005. Later moved up the ladder as a Shift In charge, Assistant Ward In charge, Supervisor in the Cardiac Ward and then as Nursing Superintendent. Arul Beulah is been awarded this award for her service towards society which includes a major role played by her in evacuating the patients during a fire incident at Carlton Towers, Old Airport Road in the year 2010 and at Malathi Manipal Hospitals in the year 2017.
