Mumbai City FC launch specially designed Tag Heuer watch face for fans

Mumbai, September 27: As Mumbai City Football Club prepare for the fourth edition of the Indian Super League, they joined an exclusive league of mega clubs around the world by launching a specially designed Tag Heuer watch for its fans earlier this week. Co-owner of the team, Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor, and the team’s Golden Glove star Amrinder Singh unveiled the popular Connected Modular 45 with the MCFC insignia on its face at a glittering function.

Mumbai City is alsoleaving no stone unturned for the season, tying up with various partners toprovide their players the best facilities, both, on and off the field. Theyhave signed up with T10 Sports as kit partner who will supply state of the artapparels that will keep them dry even in humid conditions.  They have alsojoined hands with Nanavati Hospital to ensure everybody in the team has thebest medical facilities even when they are not playing.

The team managementis super excited about the association with Tag Heuer. The iconic watch companyhas collaborated with select top clubs in various leagues, including theEnglish Premier League and La Liga, to produce special watches with the clubs’insignias. Mumbai City becomes the first team in India to become part of thisinitiative; it declared that these watches will soon be made available to theirfans.

“It’s my love forthe game and the efforts of the entire team over 3 years that has led us heretoday,” Ranbir Kapoor said. “Our goal is to become a world class club and thisis a very small step in that direction,” he added.

The stylishgoal-keeper from Punjab, Amrinder, laid down the team’s ambition for theupcoming season: the championship.

“We have a great mixof experience and youth in this side. With head coach Guimaraes back in thesaddle, we will surely try to go one step further and get our hands on thewinner’s trophy,” Amrinder said.

With the seasonbeing a ten-team affair, the AFC Under-23 captain concedes that they need to beon top of their game for a longer period.
