NTUC FairPrice’s 'Living Lab' Supermarket Deploys Manthan's Target One

Bangalore, 11 January 2018: Manthan, a leader in advanced analytics and artificial intelligence based intuitive solutions for retail and consumer businesses around the world has partnered NTUC FairPrice to enhance customer engagement at the newly opened FairPrice supermarket located at SingPost Centre in Singapore. What Singapore’s favorite retailer calls the “living lab” store, brings together the most advanced retail technologies to revolutionize the grocery shopping experience.

CustomPromotions and Shopping Assistance - Customers visiting the supermarketreceive customized offers and promotions through the “FairPrice@SingPost”mobile app. Offers are pushed to the app based on customer preferences andaffinity to brands and products. The store leverages Visible LightCommunication technology (VLC) to communicate with the mobile app via thecustomer’s smartphone camera. This technology enables customer tracking andseamlessly interacts with Manthan's TargetOne in real-time. The advancedanalytics platform sends out customized promotion to each customerdriving better conversion and basket expansion. 

Manthan’s TargetOne platform enables a whole new localized,in-store shopping experience for customers and assists them in staying updatedwith relevant offers on their favourite brands and products while athome and getting new and interesting product suggestions in real time whenbrowsing in an aisle. It also guides shoppers to products and offers in areasof the store they have not frequented in recent visits and generally tend tomiss out. This in turn helps the retailer to provide a more enrichingshopping experience for its customers.
