Presented by Sampoorn, The Society of Crafts & Crafts People, which aims to encourage the Indian Heritage, Arts and Crafts and provide a platform for self-help groups and independent artisans, the santhe is a veritable treasure house of indigenous techniques, textures and designs, which showcases a diverse range of products that includes textiles, soft furnishings, jewelry, accessories, toys, leather products, pottery, paintings, gifts and much more.

At the Santhe, craft lovers can revel in a variety of fabrics, including hand woven Tussar, Akola, Chanderi, Jamdani, Ikat, exquisite patola sarees and tangalia craft from Gujarat, Kutchi, Rajasthani Pattus, Kalamkari, Akolo, Ajrak and Kanchivaram Prints.

Also the allure of mirrored hand embroidery, block prints, woolen shawls, traditional phad paintings from Rajasthan and exquisite folk art; the rugged vibrancy of Dhokra cast metal and ironware, terracotta pottery, silver & metal jewelry, bodo weaving from Assam, intricate chikankari from Uttar Pradesh and cane and bamboo furniture, would only swell choice for the collectors. Add to this the natural goodness of organic food grains, soaps, handmade paper stationery, oils & preserves and much more – and the whole experience promises to be exhilarating.

An added attraction at the Santhe this year, is the Village Story Farmers Market, which is being held for the first time and is organised by Village Story, a community farming concept based in Bangalore, which will feature a range of fresh organic vegetables and fruits, handmade cosmetics, millets and grains & other eco-friendly products including recyclable tableware, chemical free homeware & more.
