Sankara Academy of Vision signs MOU with leading Chinese Eye Hospital

Bengaluru, June 3, 2017: Sankara Academy of Vision, the education & training initiative of Sankara Eye Foundation has entered a strategic MOU with Tonghua Eye Hospital, a leading eye care centre in China. Under the MOU, Chinese eye surgeons will be trained at the centre in techniques of cataract surgery.

With themission to eliminate avoidable blindness, Sankara Academy of Vision has beenconsistently in the forefront providing effective and innovative solutions forquality eye care. 

"Havingseen the work at Sankara and interacting with their leadership, I am confidentthat the Chinese Ophthalmologists will benefit from the training. We lookforward to further collaboration in technology and research between ourcentres." said Dr Zhao President Tonghua Eye Hospital China.
