The PilotWorkshop “Learn to Innovate” to be held in Kakinada for 3 days fromJune 26th to 28th by Hyderabad based InnoviviCentre of Excellence supported by Dept of Youth Services, Govt of AP andOpportu, USA, Berkeley Innovation Index
The Workshopwill be held in Adithya Group of Institutions, Surampalem, near Kakinada in theEast Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. If this model issuccessful, it will be replicated in all the 13 districts of the state.
This is aworkshop held under entrepreneurship development program in several districtsof Andhra Pradesh.

Workshop ismainly facilitated by Ms. Hilary Weber, USA through a Virtual medium. Hilary isa Venture Advisor and Practice Area Leader, SkyDeck, University of California,Berkeley; Industry Fellow, Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology,University of California, Berkeley; Guest lecturer, College of Engineering,University of California, Berkeley; Founder and CEO, Opportu. Co-facilitated byInnovivi team, led by Sree Divya Vadlapudi P, Co-instructors and team of 15people.
HillaryWeber’s organization, Opportu, helps companies to "Innovate like aStartup. Lead like an Enterprise".
The programis targeted at students, unemployed youth, aspiring entrepreneurs, smallbusiness owners who want to: innovate in a corporate setting, don’t yet haveinnovative ideas but want to learn how to create them and have ideas but don’tknow how to bring them to life.
Participantswalk out of this workshop with some of Silicon Valley’s best practices,hands-on experience while working in small teams and conquering a challengetogether, learn about themselves as an aspiring leader and begin theirbeautiful journey to a successful innovation by persuading practical tips onhow to attract others to support their innovative ideas, informed Sree DivyaVadlapudi P, Co-Founder, Innovivi Centre of Excellence.
The entry tothe workshop is free. The response was overwhelming. We have got3000 applications, from in and around East Godavari District, out of which fewbest are shortlisted for the program. All the participants willundergo the Berkeley Innovation Index in three stages, before, during and postthe workshop.
