Spark Minda’s participates at CII’s Conference on ‘Automotive R&D Trends’

04th April 2018: Spark Minda, Ashok Minda Group participated in CII's 10th Edition conference on ‘Automotive R&D Trends’ at Hotel ITC Grand Chola, Chennai. The theme of the conference was 'Redefine R&D: Regulatory Changes for Sustainable Mobility'.

It was asignificant platform to promote our brand image to a wider set of audiencebelonging to automotive business fraternity in general & customers,suppliers, business partners in particular. Spark Minda was represented by Mr.Krishnamurthy Vaidyanathan, Ms. Sandhya, Mr. Krishnamoorthy & Mr. YusufChikodi. 

The primeobjectives of the conference was; To serve as a stage for stakeholders from theautomotive & allied industrial sectors; To share their expert views onstrengthening the base for automotive R&D; Develop a systematic approach toaddress the key gaps in the R&D domain and Understand & highlightpriority areas for developing robust systems & solutions through research& innovation. 

Mr.Krishnamurthy, President – EI Labs (EI Labs is a step subsidiary of Minda CorporationLimited, a flagship company of Spark Minda, Ashok Minda Group) was a keyspeaker on the topic ‘Vehicle Connectivity & Telematics’. The conferencewas aimed at encouraging debates among the automotive business community on thecurrent scenario of automotive trends in the field of Electric vehicles,connected vehicles & Industry evolution & Digital Transformation. 

Varioussessions were held on Green Mobility – Future of Vehicles, IncreasedCompetition, New Regulations for Auto Industry, Automotive Industry evolution& digital transformation, Smart & Additive Manufacturing. Also therewas a special session with Mr. Philip Dalidakis, Trade & Investment,Innovation & Digital Economy & Small Business Minister for State Governmentof Victoria, Australia. 

Theconference indeed proved to be a platform for vast knowledge sharing on‘Automotive & R&D Trends’.
