Tata Motors creates Electric Mobility Business vertical
Bangalore, June 4, 2018: To capture the opportunities arising out of new mobility trends and to bring organizational focus and alignment, Tata Motors today announced the appointment of Mr. Shailesh Chandra to lead the Electric Mobility Business in addition to his current responsibility. He has been promoted as President- Electric Mobility Business & Corporate Strategy, with immediate effect and will continue to be a member of the Executive Committee. Creation of this new business vertical will enable Tata Motors to deliver on its aspiration of providing innovative & competitive e-mobility solutions.

Shailesh hasplayed an instrumental role in leading the project teams to deliver the EESLproject and has been closely working with some of the Group companies and otherecosystem partners in his current role.
