TechnoPro to launch Solutions for Electric Vehicle and Fast-Charging Stations Pan India

TechnoPro Inc. is Japans conglomerate and their plans are afoot to make India move towards increased usage of electric vehicles, away from fossil fuels. Taking the lead in that direction is TechnoPro, a Japanese technology-focused consulting company with centers in Hyderabad and Pune. As a first step, TechnoPro has mapped out locations to set up solutions Electric vehicles and providing battery Management Systems Solutions to Fast-Charging Stations

TechnoPro is facilitating this initiatives with an objective to accelerate deployment of electric vehicles, particularly buses and all types of cars, on Indian roads. Presently, the sparse number of electric charging stations has adversely impacted the growth of the electric vehicle segment. As per media reports, India has about 650 charging stations for cars and SUVs while China has over 456,000 charging points. 

TechnoPro believes that by initiating Fast charging solutions it would help build confidence among buyers of electric vehicles in India. The off-take of electric vehicles has not been encouraging with sales of about 8,000 vehicles in the last six years according to media reports. 

TechnoPro opens Global Delivery Center in Bengaluru

With its main business focus on core technologies to be used in ‘smart mobility, fast retailing and quality manufacturing processes’ TechnoPro on October 16, 2019 opened its Global Delivery Center in Bengaluru. TechnoPro India will focus on the growing needs and threats of the automotive industry. 

To hire nearly 20,000 Indian engineers and researchers

The Japanese company which started its India operations by way of M&A in 2017-18 believes that India is going to be the super economic power in the near future, having abundant engineering and IT talent. As such TechnoPro has been instrumental in providing highly skilled and technically -trained engineers and consultants from India to its customers globally and now has plans to expand Pan India.  It has announced plans to hire nearly 10,000 engineers and researchers by 2022-2023 and to double the hiring by 2023, keeping in line with the growth opportunities that exist in India. 

The Director (Japan and Global) and Managing Executive Officer of TechnoPro Holdings Inc, ShimaokaGaku said the company has ambitious plans of expanding in India by setting up a Global Delivery and Technical Innovation Center in Bengaluru and to ramp up employment. By end of 2022-23, it has set a target of 10,000 plus engineers and other professionals and to double the number by 2025. Mr. Tetsuya Abe, Executive Managing Officer believes that India can contribute in bringing revolution in Innovative Technologies after Sweden and Israel. TheCompany specializes in design and R&D, with a global strength of 20,000 engineers and researchers, having expertise in the fields of machinery, electronics, information systems, software, chemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, architecture, construction and energy. 

TechnoPro Japan Appoints Jayant Kumar as CEO, India

TechnoPro appointed Mr. Jayant Kumar to head the India operations. Jayant has been working in Japan for over 20 years, having over 26plus years’ experience in IT and Financial Services. 

Jayant Kumar said ‘From the perspective of Information Technologies and its application into Industries like Automotive and manufacturing, the increasing demand for smart mobility has compelled us to look for high-end engineers.
