THIS CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR EARN IN WARM CUDDLES AND WET KISSES FROM OUR FURRY FRIENDS

Bangalore is an animal loving city and we are proud of it! At The Blue Ridge Pet Hospital they get a lot of street dogs and cats brought in by animal lovers, mostly students. Majority of them are injured met with automobile accidents, maggot wounds or debilitating diseases. These animals require long term treatment and care before being reintroduced into the streets. The first-aid given at the hospital gives only temporary relief. With NGOs being full and lack of such facilities both the rescuer and staff at the hospital find themselves helpless with no solution. This time they have decided to take action. Dr. Swathi Hareendran and Dr. M.G. Moreton of The Blue Ridge Pet Hospital have started a trust where pet lovers can contribute to help them make their vision a reality. The Blue Ridge Animal Welfare Trust will provide first-aid to street dogs and cats at the hospital completely free of cost. They have already started doing so.

Their vision is to create an animal shelter for treatment and rehabilitation of injured and diseased animals; conduct camps for primary animal healthcare, vaccination and deworming ; actively be involved in Animal Birth Control in our area; initiate a unique non invasive ABC programme ; conduct awareness programmes street animal welfare in schools and institutions and to partner with other animal welfare organisations on common platform.

And they need your help to make this happen. Call on 636 400 4220 to know more.
