Youthphoriya presents ‘LiLoLa Carnival’

Bangalore, February 10 2018: Youthphoriya in association with Edment and Crimson events presents ‘LiLoLa Carnival’- a cancer awareness carnival to be held on Sunday,18th February at Mitralaya Girls High School, Mission Road, Sampangiramnagar from 10AM-10PM.

LiLoLa(Life.Love.Laugh) carnival is entertainment with a purpose. From wellness lunchto flea markets, interactive sessions with doctors to health camps, LiLoLa isan amalgamation of education with entertainment. LiLoLa carnival is aboutcelebrating tales of cancer survivors, giving a platform for aggrieved familieswho have lost their loved ones to cancer, to build awareness about theimportance of early detection and to make collective efforts towards cancerawareness.Conceptualized by Edment and headed by Dr Ibrahim Nagnoor,Senior Oncologist, LiLoLa brings together doctors, families, artists andcelebrities to raise awareness about cancer together. 

As a part ofthe carnival, LiLoLa will host ‘Walk for victory’, a one of a kindfashion show by cancer survivors. ‘Walk for victory’ celebrates theenduring strength and confidence of cancer survivors. It aims to deliver alasting message of hope and triumph. Spread across 3 acres with 3 dedicatedzones, the carnival will also include live performances by well known singers,band performances, comedy shows, dance performances, origami & potterysessions, face painting, organic food stalls, and basketball tournament. That’snot all! LiLoLa also guarantees a fun time for pets. Get your furry friendsalong for a fun ‘Pet carnival’ with dog play zone with toys, café for pets,grooming for dogs and much more. 

To promotethe importance of early detection of cancer, LiLoLa will also have health campsand interactive sessions with senior oncologists like Dr Vijay Kumar - ViceChancellor - Yenepoya medical university, Dr Bapsy Parmeshwar - SeniorOncologist, Dr Linge Gowda - Director Kidwai Cancer Hospital, Dr Gopinath -Senior Oncologist - HCG Hospital and Dr Ibrahim Nagnoor, Senior Oncologist.

LiLoLa –Life.Love.Laugh is about experiencing good living, embracing wellness, lovingyour loved ones and laughing to your heart’s content. LiLoLa was born with anaim to create a memorable experience with your loved ones. LiLoLa celebratesall those cancer heroes who fought their way to LIVE long, LOVE more and LAUGHHarder.

LiLoLa isnot merely an event, it’s a movement to help families and individuals cope,prepare, plan and navigate through the challenges of dealing with cancer.Presented by Youthphoriya and organized by Edment & Crimson events, LiLoLacarnival combines education and entertainment to throw light on a cause thatmatters.  Supporting the theme of World Cancer day’s We can.I  Can,  LilLoLa carnival drives home the point that eachindividual can do their bit to reduce the global burden of cancer.

Every aspectat LiLoLa carnival is chosen with a purpose of spreading the message aboutwellness. The décor , the products on display and the activities support thecause of embracing wellness.  

 Theday-long event from 10am to 10pm will serve as a public platform togarner greater support and awareness for the fight against cancer. All proceedsfrom the event will go towards charity. Round Table India is the charitypartner for the event.

The LiLoLacarnival on 18th February is a first among the many more events thatwill be executed by Edment in the coming months. To raise awareness aboutvaried health issues, LiLoLa will work with four anchor causes every quarter.

As a part ofthe event, a cancer support group called ‘LiLoLa Heroes Club’ comprisingcancer survivors will be formed to help individuals and families cope withcancer.
