Bengaluru May 2021. Minister of Forest Department of Karnataka, Arvind Limbavali inaugurated the Covid care and triaging centre at Hotel OYO Townhouse at BEML Layout in Bellandur ward of Mahadevapura constituency, and addressed the media
Addressing the media he said that Covid and triaging centres have been opened in eight wards of Mahadevapura constituency – Kadugodi, Hagadur, Hoodi, Garudachar Palya, Doddanekkundi, Marathalli, Bellandur and Varthur – as part of Covid-19 control work.
Ward-level DETER (Decentralised Triage and Emergency Response) Committee has been started in the eight wards. Group A and B officers have been appointed as nodal officers of the committee. All BBMP officers, other government officers, RWA and 60 volunteers will be part of the committee.
All office-bearers of the Committee have been informed to meet once in three days to cordinated. They have also been told to use the services of all doctors living in the wards.
Details of the Covid care centres (CCC) and and triaging centres opened in the eight wards of Mahadevapura constituency as follows;
* 1. Varthur: Zinc Hotel, Opp Govt Polytechnic College, Channasandra (50 beds available); Kadugodi: Zinc Hotel, Opp Govt Polytechnic College, Channasandra (50 beds); Hagadur: Zinc Hotel, Opp Govt Polytechnic College, Channasandra (50 beds); 2. Hoodi: Keys Hotel, Graphite India Road, ITPL Main Road (25); Garudachar Palya: Keys Hotel, Graphite India Road, ITPL Main Road (25); 03. Doddanekkundi: OYO Townhouse Hotel, BEML Layout, Kundalahalli Junction (25); Marathalli: OYO Townhouse Hotel, BEML Layout, Kundalahalli Junction (25); 4. Bellandur: Octave Hotel, Sarjapur Main Road (39).
* Covid War Rooms have been opened in Mahadevapura constituency, in order to control Covid.
* Details of War Rooms in wards: Hoodi ward office (54), AECS ward office (85), Marathalli ward office (86), Bellandur ward office (150), Varthur ward office (84), Zinc Hotel War Room (83), Govt school, behind BBMP regional office (82).
* Doctors and paramedical staff have been appointed to work in three batches on a daily basis in Covid care centres of Mahadevapura constituency. They have been asked to work actively, showing greater concern, to control Covid.
* BBMP officers have been appointed to work in coordination with Health Department officers to provide necessary treatment and medical facilities to prevent problems for patients at the Covid care centres and triaging centres of Mahadevapura constituency.

* Necessary steps have been taken to provide oxygen concentrators for treatment of patients in the Covid care centres.
