“At Aster, we remain focused on expanding centers of excellence. This expansion reflects our commitment to advanced infrastructure and specialized expertise, ensuring comprehensive, end-to-end care for mothers and children under one roof.”
Shri Dinesh Gundu Rao added that such dedicated institutions play a vital role in urban centers like Bengaluru, where the need for accessible, specialized obstetric and pediatric services is growing rapidly. He noted that these initiatives are crucial for improving maternal and child health outcomes across the state.
Strengthening the Karnataka Footprint
The Whitefield expansion is a key component of Aster’s broader growth strategy in the region. Alongside the upcoming 500-bed Yeshwantpur hospital and the 430-bed Sarjapur facility, Aster’s total capacity in Karnataka will reach 2,573 beds. This expansion solidifies Aster’s position as one of the top three private healthcare providers in the state, ensuring that residents have access to high-quality, specialized medical intervention.
