The mission, organized by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), aimed to strengthen ties between the two nations in critical and enabling technology domains.
Key Highlights of the Visit:
- Strategic Partnerships: Melbourne-based Next XR forged partnerships with Indian companies to deliver advanced AR/VR-based skill training programs, empowering Indian youth with future-ready competencies.
- Product Launch: New South Wales-based ResMed unveiled its latest sleep apnea treatment device, the Airsense 11, showcasing Australia’s commitment to healthcare innovation.
- Government Engagement: The delegation met with Tamil Nadu’s IT Minister, Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, to discuss the state’s focus on AI, cybersecurity, fintech, and medtech, and how Australian technologies can contribute to these initiatives.
