Bengaluru, 24 May 2022: Lummo (formerly known as BukuKas) has onboarded Bagirath Krishnamachari to its core leadership team. The Jakarta and Bengaluru-based SaaS company continues to expand its leadership team in India with the addition of names in key roles including Alexander Peter, Senior Vice President, Founder’s Office & People Strategy, Renuka Thakur, Head of Product – Buyer & Storefront at Bukukas, and Abishek Murthy, Chief Growth Officer.
With more than 2 decades of experience, Bagirath has a broad and encompassing vision for the future of Lummo. Having built technology for scale across e-commerce, gaming & consumer internet businesses, he has the right background to build great technology products for empowering entrepreneurs in SEA to accelerate their growth.

Lummo offers services in form of SaaS solutions to entrepreneurs and brands to help grow their businesses. They work with businesses to provide them with technological solutions and help them build consumer relationships among other services. Lummo has raised a Series C of $80 million in funding led by Tiger Global and Sequoia Capital earlier this year. Other investors such as CapitalG, the growth fund of Google’s parent company Alphabet, Bezos Expedition, the personal investment firm of Jeff Bezos, NuvemShop CEO Santiago Sosa, and former Lazada CEO Max Bittner, also participated in this round.
